Fly into Miami International Airport. If coming from West Coast we would recommend flying in Thursday, March 30, 2017 (with time difference most of the West Coast flights arriving in the evening). If flying from East Coast it is possible to fly day of the wedding, Friday, March 31, 2017.
Take a taxi or Uber/Lyft from Airport to your hotel.
Consider renting a car only if not staying in Downton Miami or South Beach and want to checkout attractions around the area.
In South Beach you can walk and take taxi/uber everywhere. Download and signup for Uber/Lyft on your iphone/android.
On day of the wedding plan to get a taxi/uber to the wedding venue: Villa Woodbine 2167 S Bayshore Dr, Miami, FL 33133 . It takes 22 minutes without traffic from South Beach (which is hardly ever the case, because there’s always traffic). You need to arrive by 5pm and for a Friday at this time traffic sucks and could take up to an hour to get there, so we strongly suggest you leave South Beach by 4:15pm at the very latest. 4pm would be smarter depending on current traffic conditions (check Google Maps for traffic conditions). Another option is to get to downtown Coconut Grove (it’s very cute) and maybe have lunch there or walk around shops or get a drink earlier in the day, then take a taxi/uber from downtown Coconut Grove to the venue which is 5-10 minutes away.
We have told our venue people our guests will not be showing up in their own cars to require parking. If you plan to not drink (why though?!) and are renting a car and want to drive to the wedding venue please let us know so we can ask about parking.
Leaving the wedding venue at 11pm you should keep your taxi contact or use Uber to schedule a pickup to take you back to South Beach. We will probably have someone to assist with that in the end.
We will likely target a bar to go to in South Beach after the wedding for anyone who wants to join.
